Description decays 2011-06-07 14:35:05 UTC
open blank calc file.
enter random data in column A, leaving some rows empty
switch to worksheet 2, enter random data in column A, leaving some rows empty
switch to worksheet 1
select all data by clicking the top left box
select from the menu, Data -> Filter -> Autofilter (select default options)
Using the filter dropdown in column A, select Standard filter, value = empty
Switch to worksheet 2
select all data by clicking the top left box
select from the menu, Data -> Filter -> Autofilter (select default options)
Using the filter dropdown in column A, select Standard filter, value = empty
switch to worksheet 1 and you'll see the filter dropdown arrow has disappeared

The filter dropdowns should not disappear just because the user switched to a different worksheet and applied another filter.

You can have only one anonymous autofilter per document. If you need more autofilter, you must name the data range via Data > Define Range.

Contact a forum or mailing list, if you need help doing this.

getting rid of value "enhancement" for field "severity".
For enhancement the field "issue type" shall be used.
