Description
We exchanged about the 91% message from gradle when running tasks on Hipchat. This already proves to be annoying for new comers who, being confused, often ask questions about it. Taher suggested:
We can remove the progress bar from gradle
I asked if it was also possible for CLI and Taher answered
Yeah it's a flag you pass to gradle, but cannot do it selectively. I believe you can do it from configuration but cannot recall how exactly, you can check the docs for that.
I checked, you need to set a TERM=dumb environment variable. I think, I will close here and we will put a work in the README.MD file. How many times we will have to explain that to new comers remains to be seen... damned RTFM!
