Description

As part of the next release we will want to move up to Proton v0.8 which will incorporate several fixes as well as improvements in the codec speed and memory usage.

For now we should move onto the published 1.0-SNAPSHOT builds and start testing to find any issues that fall out from the upgrade.

Dejan has already created a patch that deals with the API changes.
