Description michael.ruess 2009-02-05 14:48:32 UTC
Insert and OOo Draw OLE object into MS Word:
- The OLE Frame is displaced about 20 pixel downwards
- above the main toolbar there is a grey bar - looks like a misplaced toolbar
- The "Drawing objects" toolbar (at the bottom of the application window) is not
usable (only partly visible and cannot be clicked)

ADD: when using Writer as server, the focus is initially NOT in the Writer object.
Comment 3 Mathias_Bauer 2009-02-05 17:02:40 UTC
Is there any reason why the target is 3.1? I do not see a reason why this should
be a show stopper. Next time before you set the 3.1 target, please ask on the
releases mailing list before as code freeze has already passed.
Comment 4 Martin Hollmichel 2009-02-05 18:29:28 UTC
@mba: this is a follow up issues to 98740, which already has been discussed on
releases. My impression that even with the fix of 98740 the OLE Server
funtionality is badly broken, because no longer usable. my recommendation would
be P1 for this issues, because this function is not longer accessable.
Comment 5 Mathias_Bauer 2009-02-06 07:15:37 UTC
OK, in case noone objects to go for 3.1, I am fine with it. Mikhail, please take
the discussion to releases@ooo.

mav->mru: As we have seen, the problem is till now only reproducible on one from
three tested machines. Sending the issue back to you for further testing and
environment investigation as we have discussed.

mav->mh, ul: This problem needs special environment to be reproducible, thus it
is no real showstopper. Removing the task from showstopper list and setting the
target to 3.2 for now. Please set it back if you still believe the problem might
be treated as showstopper.
Comment 8 michael.ruess 2009-10-05 14:35:31 UTC
Currently only reproducible on one machine where 4 different MS Office's are
installed with several language packs...
