Description markgardener 2008-04-14 20:52:37 UTC
Word doc file with drawing objects does not open correctly. Drawing elements not aligned and/or
anchored to wrong position. OOo 2.4 on Max OS X (Tiger) via X11 (also NeoOffice 2.2.3 patch 1).

Document displays correctly in Word X for Mac (2001 SR1, also tested in Word XP via Parallels).

This is likely a duplicate of issue 69508 or issue 67809.

Could you attach a testcase? Or you could try the testcases attached to those
issue to see if any of them matches the issue you're reporting.

This does look very similar to the other issues (69508, 67809). Only test file I have is 3Mb so too large to
send. I guess it is best to mark it as duplicate of one of those and wait for fix in 3.0?

Please send the 3.0 MB document do mru@openoffice.org.
Thanks for supporting us!

Done some more digging and found the file is RTF but with a .doc extension! After conversion to Word file
(with Word on Parallels) file reads okay. Of course the issue now is that OOo won't handle the RTF!

I will edit document to remove personal info and send direct if you still want to see it?

You needn't attach a sample anymore. The problem is known.
