Instruction
1. Open the file test.odt
3. copy the cell that contain the Thai character (A1)
4. goto menubar then click File > New > Spreadsheet or Ctrl+N
5. right-click in any cell then click Paste Special...
6. you'll see Paste spacial window 
7 check the Link checkbox and click Ok

Expected result:
The destination cell should be the copy of the Thai cell

The real result:
The destination cell will have an unreadable character

addition note:
please don't update the link after you open after.ods file.

Reproduced on Win XP SP1 Oo 2.0.4 as described in the steps.

Other considerations:
- Normal paste _does_ Work. I see now error.
- Doing a special paste with link enabled pastes a 'A?' sequence of characters.
- Updating the link in the new file will _not_ solve the problem.

I have attached a small screen shot of what the unreadable character looks like.
