Apologies if this is posted in the wrong section.  I've not been able to find
anywhere that says this is a known issue.  I'm using windows xp service pack 2.
 I installed ooo 2.0 Beta (1.9.79).  I can access writer, cal, spreadsheet etc.
by clicking on start|programs|open office or from within one of the openoffice
programmes to open another.  However, when I click on the quick launcher that
loads during system start up nothing happens.
