Problem:
around pictures, there is "garbage" text such as

(also see figure 7 AND 8)

Attempted with m95 FR and the result is NO pictures at all

The disturbing text is not available anymore with newer builds like 680m105.
But the figures will still not be visible, because these are drawing shapes,
which are currently not supported by OO's RTF filter. See issue 3790.
