Description Frank Schönheit 2003-08-25 09:05:56 UTC
* create a ADO data source for the attached MDB file
* have/create an arbitrary dBase data source
* open the data source browser
* drag'n'drop the table "DateTimeTable" to the "Tables" container of the dBase
data source
=> the "Copy Table" auto pilot starts up
* press "Create"
=> an error message is issued, saying that no matching type could be found for
column ID
* confirm this message
=> the "Type Formatting" page is shown
* press "Back"
=> the "Apply columns" page is shown.
=> there seem to be three columns, two on the right, one on the left. This is
wrong, since the source table contains only 2 columns.
Seems that the pilot is confused by it's own column renaming, because it had to
rename "DateTimeField" to "DateTime1", because of the column name length
restrictions for the target data source.

In a OOo 2.3 the data type will be converted into a type the target db knows.
