Description Rainer Bielefeld 2003-08-18 18:06:19 UTC
Hi,

for me as QA member with several builds on my PC it is quite annoying that it is
so difficult to find out the correct build number.

My MOZILLAs give me information like
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030624
Which is absolutely clear and can be copied with Cntrl-C Cntrl-V to anywhere I want.

OOo gives a poor "1.1" in the help menu, which seems to be the same like an
entry in the file, which has been changed by my as a simple method to install
various OOo of the same "main step" 1.1 on my PC.

The complete build information can be seen with Cntrl-S-D-T, but only as an
image, not as a text (that can be copied easily to IZ).

This misery again and again causes problems - please give us a simple method to
add the exact OOo- build to IZ-reports.

My OOo: 1.1RC3 german version WIN98SE: 645m15(Build8669) [CWS:ooo11rc3]

Rainer

I think, you should help those, who spend their free time on
developing OOo, and implement it.
