Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 13516
line-break symbol not displayed
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:43:39 UTC
This isssue was discovered dealing with issue 6555 When you hit SHIFT + Enter in Write to create a line break inside a paragraph, normally a small arrow shows up to indicate this line break. In 1.1Beta this only works when you use the old OpenSymbol font that was delivered with the versions 1.0.x. Therefore I assume that the font delivered with 1.1Beta is defect or somewhat changed. When you compare the size of the font file from 1.1Beta it is only as half as big the one from 1.0.x

I have to reopen this issue, because the font provided in issue 12557 does not solve this problem. Still the little square is shown and not the little arrow.
You are right. corrupt OpenSymbol-Font is not the cause.. But here it works with both the original-Font that is part of the installation-set as well as with the replacement. changing summary, adapting priority, conforming (I don't own windows, so I couldn't double-check. linux version works fine), setting target milestone (1.1rc) The strange thing is, that it works with OpenSymbol taken from OOo1.0.x Original Summary: Font OpenSymbol delivered with OOo 1.1Beta seems to be defect
forgot Priority...
Should be clean again in OOo 1.1 Beta2.
This task is fixed or worked in OOo 1.1 beta2.
Works is fixed in OOo 1.1 Beta2. => closed
