When accessing Insert menu, one of the options is "Inserir Caractere". However, the correct Portuguese spelling would be "Inserir Carácter".

The correct spelling is indeed "Carácter" but that word is more related to a person's personality, if he/she is honest, good, bad, etc. I changed it as if it is a new singular of "carateres tipográficos", charaters.
I know it is not correct but then, I would have to change lots of other words that do not respect the latest and very much contested ortographic agreement, that will be fully implemented in 2014.
My idea is to review the entire translation first (almost done). After that I'll get a copy of that agreement and correct all those words, most likely offline, since it's a lot quicker to find and replace in batches.

Translation reviewed, UI and Help. I will now wait for the integration of files, while working on the implementation of the new orthographic agreement, offline. I'll upload the files when ready and post an issue requesting a new update of the translation, thus resolving this issue.
I'll change the status to fixed also.
