Short document that causes OpenOffice to crash

I have been writing things on my iPad and emailing them to myself as word files and opening in Open on my laptop for quite a while.

I have recently upgraded both OpenOffice on my laptop to 4.0.1. I have also upgraded my iPad3 to iOS 7.0.4 and Pages (the word processor there) is up to date (I think version 2.0).

I am now finding that, if I create something in Pages and email to myself, OpenOffice crashes when I try to open it: all OpenOffice windows disappear and it seems unable to open anything. I am usually rebooting the lapatop at that point and sometimes a window telling me it is trying an automatic recovery as the laptop shuts down.

On my Mac I have OpenOffice 3.3.0, which is managing to open these files but it displays them strangely -- the attached is claimed to be 9 pages, of which the first has just two lines of text, both double crossed out. I am able to save as plain text (.txt) from OpenOffice on the Mac, which is presently how I am getting text from the iPad into OpenOffice on the XP laptop.

I attach a file which causes this behaviour for me.

Many thanks

Mark

stack of writerfilter's failed assertion shortly before the crash

The assertion failure reported is "no context of this type available" from DomainMapper_Impl::GetTopContextOfType() for a CONTEXT_PARAGRAPH eId.
Comment 3 Oliver-Rainer Wittmann 2014-02-13 13:43:49 UTC
I reproduced the defect with OOo 3.4 Beta, AOO 3.4.0, AOO 3.4.1, AOO 4.0.0 and AOO 4.0.1, but not in OOo 3.3.0 --> adjusting version field

The crash no longer occurs in developer snapshot, rev. 1560773
I assume it has been fixed by the changes made for bug 124058

Mark Argent, Edwin or Herbert:
Could someone please verify that the issue is no longer reproducible. Thx in advance.

Thx for verifying my observation regarding the crash --> marking issue as FIXED

Unfortunately, the import is bad - as it was in OOo 3.3.0. It more or less looks like as the sample document from bug 124058.
