build info:OOo-dev3.4.1_r1354891

Steps:
1.launch OO and new a presentation
2.insert one shape and input some text
3.select the text and right click mouse to select "text..."dialog,then switch to text animation tab,set property as below:
effect:Blink
Animation cycles:50 times
delay:automatic
4.click "ok" to close the dialog
5.repeat step2-4

defect:
after step 4,the text in the first shape will play animation effect;
but after step5,it won't.

Are you sure, that there are still cycles left from the 50 cycles? I see no problems with the effect "Blinking".
To restart the counter, reload the page, for example by switching to another slide and back.

Hi Regina Henschel, the defect means:

after set text effect as blink in one shape,it will show blink effect.
then insert another shape,and set same effect on the second shape, no show blink effect.so it is by design? 
My expected result is every shape will show its effect after set its text effect.

if most member think it is reasonable and acceptable,i agree resolved the defect as invalid~
