ODS version

I exported my Calc to a pdf format and the scale changes along the horizontal axe.

Enclosed, my ods. file where I put some vertical lines of width 21cm/20=1.05cm. Consequently, there are 2 lines (the first and the last) which are on the border. This is what we can check in the .ods file when looking at the ~"before printing view" for example.

But, when exporting to pdf (enclosed my pdf file), the last line is not yet exactly on the border (1-2 mm from the border), while the pdf file informations say that the width of the pdf is 21.0cm. It means that a rescaling has been done. I also check it by measuring the interval between the lines which are tnot the same yet.

I would say it's a general printing problem because it's the same when printing it directly from the ods file to the printing machine (I checked it by measuring manually the line width on the sheet of paper).

Finally, there is the same problem with the Calc from the Linux version 3.2.

getting rid of value "enhancement" for field "severity".
For enhancement the field "issue type" shall be used.

Sorry i forgot the message in the message above :

I still have this problem with OpenOffice 3.4 on Mac OSX at least (I can't get a newer version than 3.4)

See the enclosed capture : while the pdf is 21 cm large, we can notive that the rightmost line is not exactly at the border of the pdf, contrary to the leftmost line.

Please try AOO 3.4.1 from here:

http://www.openoffice.org/download/other.html

Or if this is not fixed yet, then in AOO 3.5 which is not yet published.

The version I've just used is the latest available : 3.4.1.
So let's wait for the 3.5 to know if it will work on my computer.

Verified on Build Aoo_Trunk_20121109.1800 rev 1407366 against Win7 OS, Open the PDF file and check the page size info, the pdf page width is larger than 21cm, it is 21.587 actually, so this bug does not reproduce.
Comment 9 dhinaghena 2012-11-13 11:18:15 UTC
You checked with Windows. It also works well on Linux version "LibreOffice 3.5.4.2". The problem disapeared, I've just checked.

But on Mac version (3.4.1), the issue is still there (and the pdf page width is 210mm as shown in my previous attachment named "Screen capture of the pdf file and properties of this pdf"
The 3.5 is not available yet on Max OS, so we can wait for it to check if it disapeared as it did in the linux version and Windows.

ALG: AFAIR the Mac print is using the PDF export, maybe you get closer to this issue when checking that one.

I agree, waiting 3.5 for mac version to verify.
