Description cjw 2011-03-29 20:54:51 UTC
File -> Save -> Select "Text CSV (.csv)" as a file format and save.

Open the file up in your favorite editor and find that the file is tab-delimited.

I know you can "Edit filter settings" to correct this, but as the RFC defines csv as being separated by commas, this is a bug.

Can't confirm in OOo3.3 and DEV300m104. When saving a file the first time the "Export Text File" dialog asks for character set and delimiters, the default field separator is ',' comma. Only subsequent saves of the same file to CSV inherit the setting without asking again if "Edit filter settings" is not checked.

getting rid of value "enhancement" for field "severity".
For enhancement the field "issue type" shall be used.

CSV is misnomer.
Separation is not limited to just commas.

The saved file is comma delimited.
