... because after removal of common trees, there are double path entries and the
order might be incorrect. This leads to packaging of wrong files (for example
intro bitmap).

Hello,
How can I reproduce this bug?
Becuase I  sent a mail about this bug and they told me maybe was a developer giving a reminder to himself.  But there is not enough
detail for anyone else to understand what the bug was.
Let me know  how can I reproduce it?
