1) On Linux (I'm on GNOME), start soffice with a fresh configuration.  This puts
the quick starter in the system tray after you are finished with the initial
registration wizard.
2) Right-click on the quick starter to bring up the context menu, and select
"Disable systray Quickstarter".
3) It crashes, and initiates the document recovery process.

I have tested this on openSUSE 11.1.  I haven't tested it in KDE, or on other
Linux distros.

I used my CWSes that are all based on DEV300_m60.
