Description

JDBC Hive interpreter is using tez engine by default and this is troubling me to connect to local hive running on a linux server. We have disabled tez.* property in hive due to security issues and hence unable to use hive in zeppelin. Any solutions to change this to mr instead of tez ?

PS: I have configured username password in credentials and jdbc hive string for hive. On updating this property in hive-site.xml i am able to use hive from zeppelin. But it is not possible for us to add tez in whitelist in any circumstances.
