      Description

Maven central now requires https. There are a lot of http://repo1.maven.org/maven2/ spread throughout the configs and codebase, and they are almost impossible to get rid of. Even if I update the config files and force it into the interpreter menus, it looks like the http version keeps coming in from some compiled code and prevents dependencies from downloading.

This broke on January 15th, see https://support.sonatype.com/hc/en-us/articles/360041287334
