      Go to http://xml.apache.org/xerces-c/apiDocs/classDOMNode.html#z115_6

      The documentation makes no sense. It almost looks like the description for getTextContent() and setTextContent() got munged together somehow.

      Also, in the heading on the table, raw HTML tags are rendered as text (looking at the HTML source, the angle brackets are marked up as < and > entities):

      The string returned is made of the text content of this node depending on its type, as defined below: <th>Node type</th> <th>Content</th>
