The link to the source reporitory on the home page, http://xml.apache.org/xalan-j/, points to http://cvs.apache.org/viewcvs.cgi/xml-xalan/java/ which generates

An Exception Has Occurred

xml-xalan/java: unknown location

HTTP Response Status

404 Not Found

I suspect Xalan has moved to Subversion http://svn.apache.org/viewcvs.cgi/xalan/ and the links should be updated to point there as well.
