You are probably aware that Wicket is a Apache Top Level project since recently and due to that we have to be careful with licenses, copyrights etc. I've seen SWFObjects is based on the MIT license and you put a copyright notice in your java code as well. I'm not a license expert, but I assume either might prevent the swf behavior to go into wicket-extensions. But since this is not new to us, we created the wicket-stuff project some time ago (http://wicketstuff.org/confluence/display/STUFFWIKI/Wiki) which has a minis sections. I think this is the perfect place for your component. WDYT?
