Lucid is not stable on EC2

    Description

      There are reported problems with Lucid on EC2 (see https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-on-ec2/+bug/574910). We should change the default, perhaps to an Amazon Linux AMI (http://aws.amazon.com/amazon-linux-ami/).
