Description
The KMS server is cleared before a Windows image is captured. When that image is loaded, the licensing service within the image will report "licensed" for 180 days after the image was captured. During load, the code first checks if it is "licensed". If so, it does not attempt to activate the computer. This means the KMS server doesn't get set within the image. If the KMS DNS entries are not available, the activation period will eventually run out.
