Description
The color-depth if very low (usually 8 or 16-bit) by default when connecting to Windows images via RDP. This occurs even if you select a higher color depth when making the RDP connection. There is a local group policy on Windows which allows higher color depths.
Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Terminal Services > Limit maximum color depth
Enabling this policy and setting it to "Client Compatible" allows higher color depths. This should be set during image capture.
