Description
To selectively take advantage of new CSS capabilities, and other changes which may rely on DOM changes, the skin needs to be able to specify rendering features that the skin needs to take advantage of. An example of this is removal of image borders and corners that are only there to provide rounded corners or gradients. Reducing DOM can be done in many cases without affecting the presentation, but positively affecting performance.
