Description

Building Trafodion 2.0.0 using Cloudera 5.6 failed.

According to the documentation, Cloudera 5.5 and 5.6 is compatible with Trafodion; however, when trying to install Trafodion with Cloudera 5.6 failed with the following error:

***INFO: Cloudera installed will run traf_cloudera_mods
**ERROR: unable to find /usr/lib/trafodion/apache-trafodion_server-2.0.0-debug/export/lib/hbase-trx-cdh5_5-.jar
***ERROR: traf_cloudera_mods exited with error.

Looking at the supplied jar files, we are not creating the above file:

ls /usr/lib/trafodion/*debug/export/lib

...
hbase-trx-cdh5_4-2.0.0.jar

We need to either:

Add support for hbase-trx-cdh5_5-*.jar OR
change the documentation and installer to only allow 5.4 versions.
