Worker: active whiteboard observer

    Description

      Want the ability for users to specify an arbitrary set of whiteboard observers (not just one; allow implementation in scripting languages?) which can see changes as they happen and react by pushing out notifications (SMS? Twitter?) The observers must execute in the context of the worker as they are user-supplied code.
