Description

Some of the things going in and out of the workflow instances might be large (e.g., provenance DB - TAVSERV-43) so need a reliable mechanism for moving large files or lots of files.

Examples: Globus GridFTP and RFT. (NB: not suggesting that these actually be used; they're just exemplars and this is an area where I don't know so well the state of the art.)
