    Description

This came in via the users@ list.

Original report was that the user did not think tagging was working:
      http://svn.haxx.se/users/archive-2007-03/0444.shtml

"I am having a weird issue when I try to tag a revision in SVN. When I
tag the head revision, I get a message back that it was tagged and I see
that the repository revision was incremented but when I look in my
"tags" directory, the tagged version is not there. I can tag it again
and again it says that it succeeded and the revision again is
incremented. I ran an "svnadmin verify" on the repository and I get
this message backad the verify stops:

svnadmin: Filesystem path 'tags/v5.1.0.2' is neither a file nor a
      directory "

User was using 1.2 on the server at this time.

A few days later, the user reported they could not dump their repository.
      http://svn.haxx.se/users/archive-2007-03/0805.shtml

User was using 1.4.3 at this time and could reproduce the problem at will. They
created a 2-revision repository with the problem and posted it. I will attach
      it to the issue.

Finally, the user followed up that they figured out the source of the problem, a
      particularly proxy they were using.

It seems like we would still want to look at this further.
