Description
The released bz2 tarball of Subversion 1.1.4 have an install-sh file that has CR/LF end of lines. This makes that it does not work on Linux (or perhaps certain version of Linux only). The problem is mainly (but not only) the first line, as the command is searched with a terminated CR, which of course cannot be found. Changing the file to LF endings make everything work again. (There is also a install.sh file that has CR/LF but it seems unused.) I had not reported that problem before but the problem seems to be still in Subversion 1.2 or at least what has reported by a user is very similar: http://subversion.tigris.org/servlets/ BrowseList?list=users&by=thread&from=332944 (I marked this as P1, as I supposed that the probelm should be solved before the next release, as it is not an obvious problem.) Have a nice day!
