Description

HTTP needs a way to authenticate who a user is and limit access to topologies to only those people who are allowed to see them.

In the version Yahoo released we also added a config to optionally disable the kill/Rebalance UI actions. We can either do that or also add in authentication checks on the restful APIs while we are at it.
