Inform user about session timeout and allow intervention

    Description

      The current code automatically disconnects the session if one of the idle/authentication timeouts has expired. We would like to be able to inform the user about the pending disconnect and allow a last-minute intervention that can cancel the disconnect and reset the timeout measurement.
