On the Spot documentation page http://spot.apache.org/doc/#deployment, in section 4.2, there is a blurb for “Spark-Streaming”. In that blurb is a URL to a JAR file you need to download to support PySparkStreaming-Kafka. This URL has a mistake – there is a space because “spark-streaming-kafka-” and “0-8-assembly” in the basename. This stops you from copying and pasting the url and then downloading the file.
