Should enable test below:

pdf = pd.DataFrame([("1", "2"), ("0", "3"), ("2", "0"), ("1", "1")], columns=["a", "b"])
psdf = ps.from_pandas(pdf)
self.assert_eq(pdf.cov(), psdf.cov())
