I suspect that this started failing after LUCENE-9334, but I don't understand enough about all the moving parts to be certain. An example CI failure is at https://jenkins.thetaphi.de/job/Solr-main-Linux/342/testReport/junit/org.apache.solr.client.solrj.embedded/SolrExampleJettyTest/testUpdateField/

Reproduce with gw test --tests org.apache.solr.client.solrj.embedded.SolrExampleXMLHttp2Test.testUpdateField, don't need to specify a seed.
