    Description

      Solr CDCR is very fragile. It can cause a number of issues in environments with high querying or indexing load. 

      @thelabdude has suggested a strong alternative in Apache Pulsar. Since it won’t be needed by all implementations, I suggest that this feature functionality be developed as a plugin to continue the strategy of keeping core Solr as lean as possible.
