Solr Index Partition by Timestamp(day)

    Description

      I am using Solr Cloud for indexing a big amount of log data files. Should it be necessary to partition the index? We have thought about partitioning the index by timestamp(day).
      I have not found any document about how to partition an Index in Solr Cloud by different components(day, hour...) of a timestamp.
      How that should be done?
