Description

SimpleHttpDistributionTransport currently does not allow to communicate with a distribution endpoint using https:// scheme. The root cause is that the method org.apache.sling.distribution.transport.impl.SimpleHttpDistributionTransport#authenticate does hardcode the scheme instead of setting it from the configured distributionEndpoint.
