Description
Apache SIS 1.0 already supports the "Sinusoidal equal area" projection with spherical and ellipsoidal formulas. But some remote sensing data appear to be using something more similar to Google "Pseudo-Mercator" projection: they use spherical formulas and apply the result on WGS84 ellipsoid instead of a sphere. For supporting those remote sensing data, we need a "Pseudo sinusoidal equal are" projection.
Note that this is not the same thing than using the sinusoidal projection on a sphere, in the same way that "Pseudo Mercator" projection is not the same as "Spherical Mercator" projection.
I'm not aware of a name for this projection. The "Pseudo sinusoidal" name proposal is by analogy with "Pseudo Mercator".
