Description

Two primary goals for improving/redesigning the sentry generic model:

• Improve the integration process with other components. Ensure Sentry can be leveraged easily to provide authorization capabilities.
  • Clients only need to provide components specific permission information, such as how the permission/authorizable object are defined.
  • Ensure low performance impact on clients.
• Make sentry easy to plug-in different access control model such as ABAC, other than RBAC.
