    Description

It would be nice if the default Roller RSS templates supported the <guid> element. The guid element allows aggregators to uniquely identify a post, and differentiate updates from new posts.

At present, feed demon displays duplicates whenever an item is updated. Feed demon does the following:

If a feed uses <guid> there's no problem since that IDs each item, but when <guid> is absent FeedDemon does the following:

      1) If a feed's items have a publication date, then FD uses <title> + <pubDate> (or <title> + <dc:date>) as the unique ID

      2) If the feed doesn't contain publication dates, then FD uses <title> + <link> as the unique ID

      3) If the feed doesn't contain <link>, then only <title> is used
