    Description

      The initial implementation of the Vortex runtime should include

      • Java ThreadPool-like user interface
      • Distributed execution of user-submitted functions
      • Handling of resource preemption events
      • Simple Vortex Tasklet scheduling mechanisms
      • Some unit/integration tests to verify correctness in basic scenarios
