Description

Add the messenger smoke tests, fixed as per pull request 114, to the old_examples backwards compatibility suite.

The Messenger API will be supported but deprecated in the next release, so messenger examples are removed from the examples tree but are preserved (with other older examples) in the ruby/tests/old_examples tree to ensure we don't break deprecated features too early.
