Description
It seems this year things have changed regarding licensing of the OPC-UA spec. I was told that it is now available for all (even non-members) and that it's licensing would allow implementation of own dirvers based on that Spec. In order to use the Logo and call a product OPC-UA compatible however a so-called Logo-Membership is required. The ASF could become member here and it is free of charge.
According to the usage rights on this page: https://opcfoundation.org/license/specifications/1.13/index.html
It is allowed to implement software with the spec. But not to reproduce the spec. I think this could be an issue as well documented code implementing a spec could be regarded reproducing it. I think we will have to discuss this with the OPC foundation.
