Thank you for the great tool! I was delighted to find pdfbox's preflight, and use it to gradually fix the issues of PDF/A compliancy in pdfLaTeX (and ghostscript) generated documents.
However I needed the context of the errors, which is currently not reported in most of the messages. At least the byte offset is nearly always at hand, and often the object itself, which makes it easy to include them.
I changed this for the messages which occurred to me (I can supply a patch), but it would be nice to have this for all errors.
