          This was due to my use of FF 56.0.2 on Win7. It works well with Edge (Chromium) still on win7.
          So I close.

          I thought noticed this issue:
          See the truncated zones w/o scroll?

          Not a big deal, just saying.
          Maybe it''s not reproductible with an up to date browser on an up to date OS?

          Please forget it. I just tried on Ubuntu 20.04 with up to date FF and it works well
