    Description

      In our current implementation it is hard to switch the compactor "flavour" because the actual compactor implementation is hidden under many indirection layers of strategies. We need a quick workaround to support the use-case from OAK-8836, i.e. allowing tooling to change at runtime the default compactor implementation.
