Description

This ticket is largely the same symptoms as presented in NIFI-144 for a particular environment where tests are being run.

This primarily seems to be on OS X systems connected via FIOS wherein the default DNS servers are not changed. The problem of Verizon's search assistant is summarized in http://forums.verizon.com/t5/FiOS-Internet/Verizon-FIOS-DNS-resolve-issue/td-p/726075. This is not to say that all OS X systems on FIOS with default router settings are affected, as there are also cases where there are no issues.
